Registration
You can register online through our website by selecting the appropriate age group and completing the registration form. Once payment is finalised, you will receive a confirmation email with season details, training information and next steps.
If you are unsure which division to select, feel free to contact us before registering.
Registration dates vary depending on the competition calendar. We usually open registrations several weeks before the start of each season and close once teams are finalised or spots are filled.
We recommend registering early to secure your child’s place, especially in popular age groups.
Yes. All players are required to be registered with Basketball Queensland to participate in official competitions. This provides insurance coverage and eligibility to compete.
If your child is already registered with Basketball Queensland through another club, you may only need to complete the club registration. Details will be provided during the sign up process.
Mid season registrations may be accepted depending on team availability. If there is space in your child’s age group, we will do our best to accommodate late registrations.

Schedules
Once teams are confirmed, you will receive your allocated training schedule.
Games are played at local Gold Coast basketball stadiums as part of the official junior competition. Venue details and game times are provided through the competition fixture once the season begins.
Fixtures are organised by the competition association and are based on team divisions and grading. After initial grading rounds, teams are placed into appropriate divisions to ensure balanced and competitive games.
If a game is cancelled due to venue issues or other circumstances, the competition organiser will notify teams as soon as possible. In some cases, games may be rescheduled depending on court availability.
Yes. Once fixtures are released, families will have access to the full season draw, including game times and venues. Training schedules are also provided once teams are finalised.
Fees & Uniforms
Registration fees vary depending on the age group and competition. Fees typically cover weekly training sessions, game participation and club administration costs.
Basketball Queensland registration fees may apply separately if not already paid. Full fee details are available during the registration process.
Yes, we accept Queensland FairPlay vouchers. If you have an approved voucher, you can apply it during registration. Please ensure the voucher is valid at the time of submission.
Club uniforms can be ordered through the club once your child has been placed in a team. You will receive ordering instructions and sizing information after registration.
Players are required to wear the official Wild Cats game uniform during matches. Training gear can be comfortable sports clothing with appropriate basketball shoes.
Yes, players may wear compression garments such as tights or bike shorts under their uniform in line with competition guidelines.
Volunteering
Absolutely. Wild Cats Basketball Club relies on the support of parents and volunteers to keep the club running smoothly. There are opportunities to assist with coaching, team management, scoring and general club support.
Yes. All players, parents and coaches are expected to follow our club code of conduct to ensure a safe, respectful and positive environment for everyone involved.
You can support the club by volunteering your time, assisting on game days, helping with events or joining the committee. Even small contributions make a big difference.
Yes. Volunteers working directly with children may be required to hold a valid Blue Card in accordance with Queensland regulations.
From time to time, the club may offer incentives or support for volunteers. Details are communicated at the start of each season.
