Our goal is to be a leading community sporting organisation that creates genuine opportunities for young athletes to grow, compete and succeed.

We are committed to building an inclusive club where every player feels supported, valued and proud to be part of the Wildcats community.

A Club Built Around Your kid, Not Just The Game

The Wildcats have been part of the Gold Coast community for years, run entirely by parents and volunteers who genuinely care about the kids in the club. We coach basketball, but what we’re really focused on is making sure every player feels like they belong, improves at their own pace, and actually enjoys showing up each week.

That means proper fundamentals, coaches who communicate well with kids, and a culture where teammates look out for each other. The Spirit of the Wildcats isn’t a tagline, it’s how the club runs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Registrations are processed through the North Gold Coast Seahawks website. Head to our How to Join page for a direct link and step-by-step instructions. If you get stuck, email us at info@wildcatsbasketball.com.au and we’ll sort it out.

We run teams from U8 through to U20 for both boys and girls. U8 is our mini ball program for the youngest players, with full junior competition running from U10 upward. If you’re not sure which age group applies to your child, contact us with their date of birth and we’ll point you in the right direction.

The U8 mini ball program runs for 8 weeks each school term, so there are four competitions across the year. For U10 to U20, Season 1 covers Terms 1 and 2, and Season 2 covers Terms 3 and 4. There’s a mid-season break around week 8 to align with school holidays, and a 2 to 3 week gap between seasons.

Registrations open a few weeks before each season starts, so keep an eye on our socials or contact us to be notified.

Fees vary by age group and are set by the Seahawks competition. Full pricing is shown during the registration process. If the cost is a concern, we offer payment plans to spread the fee across several weeks. Email info@wildcatsbasketball.com.au to request a payment plan link.
